The Mi Woollies Aviator Hat is manufactured from nappa finish double face sheepskin pelts that have been tanned to perfection. The soft wool fibres of natural sheepskin are highly breathable and act as a natural insulator to keep your head warm, dry and comfortable. Thick shearling wool inside moulds to the shape of your head creating natural insulation. The nappa finish on our Aviator Hat means that rain will run off the surface of the hat leaving it drier for longer. It has side flaps that can be worn either up or down and can be fastened under your chin if desired. This hat is a must have in cold conditions.

Hat Size Conversion:

For information on hat size measurements please refer to the 'Size Selection' drop down menu. To determine your hat size, measure the circumference around your head, keeping the tape level and firm, across the temples and above the eyebrow ridges. Check the 'Size Selection' drop down menu and select your matching size. For in-between measurements use the next size up.

We have posted some helpful hints on Sheepskin Care to help you maintain your sheepskin investment.

As a preventative measure we recommend spraying the outwards facing skin with our Stain & Water Repellent. Treated sheepskin is a lot more water and stain resistant than non treated sheepskin and consequently water and dirt will have less of a chance of sticking. We recommend the application of our Stain and Water Repellent while the item is still new and unmarked. This will form a protective layer on the skin and assist in the prevention of stains caused by water and the odd accident. It will also help prevent mildew forming. For best results it should be re-applied every 3 months and after washing.
